CR Salary Survey

Since 2007, Acona has worked with Acre Resources and Ethical Performance to produce an annual survey of those working on CR and sustainability. The survey - the only one of its type - covers both those working in-house and external consultants providing advice and support in these areas. In addition to collating data on remuneration, the survey also asks questions about other benefits, roles and responsibilities and educational and professional background. Taken together this information provides a fascinating insight into the type of jobs available, the level of reward and what skills and knowledge employers are looking for in this growing sector.

The results from the 2010 survey showed that even in the CR sector, few employers are grasping the benefits of staff working from home. A mere 4% of in-house respondents and 10% of consultants actually use their home as their place of regular work (both unchanged from the year before).

The turmoil of the economic environment over the last 12 months has increased the importance of finding out what the past year has meant for CR professionals and what they expect the future to hold.
