We’ve become an LLP!

On 15th April 2011, Acona, the London-based management consultancy specialising in corporate responsibility, became an LLP.  Six of the senior partners - Simon Hodgson, Jacqui Boardman, Peter de Graaf, Neil Everett, Glynn Roberts and Richard Whitehouse - led a buy-out from the company’s Norwegian parent.  We believe we are the first significant LLP dedicated to sustainable development/CR advice.

Although it is an exciting development for the team, the big message is: change but no change. The company’s office, email and postal addresses remain unchanged and the staff have become employees of Acona Partners LLP.  We have taken this step so that we can do what we always have done.

The business continues to trade under the name Acona and continues its strong support for the idea of employee-ownership. The change puts the business in line with other professional services firms, such as lawyers and accountants.

Acona has grown steadily since its foundation in 2002, something that the Acona Partners intend to continue.  For more information click the image above to hear Managing Partner Simon Hodgson explain further or to have a chat, contact any of the partners directly here.
